Helium Hire & DIY Kits
Hiring a Do It Yourself Helium Kit is an easy and cost effective way to fill your venue with lots of balloons. Whether you want to float balloons on the ceiling, do your own table or floor arrangements or tie balloons to chairs and railings, the DIY Kits may be the way to go.

The DIY Kits are complete with everything that you require, including the helium cylinder with the regulator, balloons and ribbons. If you already have balloons and ribbon, you can hire a helium cylinder (including the regulator) by itself.

Cylinders vary in size with the most commonly used being:

	Cylinder Size	CL	Inflates approximately 50 balloons
	Cylinder Size	D	Inflates approximately 100 balloons
	Cylinder Size	E	Inflates approximately 300 balloons

Larger size cylinders are also available and combinations of cylinders can be arranged to achieve in-between quantities i.e. 150 balloons to be inflated.

When hiring a kit, you can choose any colour of balloons from our standard and metallic ranges. You also choose the colour of the standard ribbon (1.1m lengths). Extra long and / or metallic ribbons are available for a small additional charge.

Points to note with regard to helium cylinder hire:

• helium balloons last 10-12 hours (depending upon the temperature and the volume of the balloon) once inflated, so it is important to inflate your balloons as close to the time of your party as possible.
• helium gas must not be inhaled. It is a dangerous gas and inhaling it can cause death.
• cylinders and kits should be booked in advance to guarantee availability.
• a $50 deposit is required to be left at Shindigs to ensure return of the cylinder and regulator in good working condition.
