Our face and body paints are safe and non-toxic, however it is always recommended to test the products before you begin your transformation! Apply a barrier spray or cream to your clean, dry skin to ensure easy application and removal. If you need a thick layer or bold colour, apply the paint in multiple thin layers. This will help prevent the paint cracking and flaking off after it dries. All of our face paints are water-based and highly pigmented, creating bright, vibrant colours.
Liquid latex is used for a wide variety of costume special effects. You can create an 'aged look' with wrinkles, made up wounds or even effects for prosthetic pieces. Liquid latex dries clear and will need make up to be applied once dried. Speed up the drying process when using liquid latex by using a cool hair dryer. There is no remover available for liquid latex, simply peel it off.
Once you have your 'new face' sorted, it's time to work out the rest of your costume. Add a fake moustache or beard, false eyelashes, a wig or hat to your face paint and costume and your friends won't even recognise you!
